about me + my classes


I am a Yoga Alliance, 200hr certified yoga instructor, currently living in Vancouver, Canada. I originally trained in India with Sonja Appel (Sushumna Vinyasa Flow) & went on to further my studies in Istanbul with Chris Chavez. 

I teach Vinyasa Flow classes and have been teaching for six years. My past experience as a radiographer has given me a deep understanding of the body, which I weave together with humour and love. I teach a strong practice with careful alignment, and creative, intelligent sequencing—always with a meditative quality.

Taking the time to listen to the body and quiet all the noise of our day-to-day can be so liberating. Stepping on the mat gives us space to just be; whatever it is we need in that moment. Yoga helps us to distinguish between what serves us and what doesn't, find intuition in our body, and allows us to let things go; to trust the ebb and flow of life. It nourishes and challenges all parts of our bring. Yoga is a science, it is tested and true, yet also an art which we can creatively participate. 

Outside of yoga, I have a curious, little (almost) one year old, Juneau, who keeps me busy. Family time is everything to me. I also do freelance digital and social media for local businesses in Vancouver. If you're living in Vancouver, chances are good that you follow an account I manage.
